C SCAN IMAGE

Good Day fellow professionals,

Please can somebody share their experience with the below problem and how it was resolve. SEE ATTACHED IMAGE

During setup/calibration for corrosion mapping using Olympus MX2 32:128PR with Hydroform, the echo on the A-scan does not show but all the B and C-scan are showing, I have changed scanner but the problem still exist. What could be the problem? Is the problem with the scanners or the equipment?

Thanks to assist

Michael,
I think the A-Scan data is linked only to C- scan index axis blue curser , not to B scan yellow curser (there must be another blue curser on B-Scan that is linked to A &C scan).would you please apply zooming on C-scan and move index and scan axis cursers on the blue colour area and capture another photo to upload here. Also some elements of probe are off.

Set VPA to something else

As Ali has pointed out, set your VPA to 30. That will put it in the middle of your probe. See image.

And you've got WAY too much range on there. Turn it down to 30mm, and put the start at -3mm (or something just a little less than zero). I can see your nominal is 12.7mm.

Then you can see two backwalls and play with cursor positions to remove coating if the E-E signal is inconsistent.

Please try to reconnect your probe again. It seems like your probe connector is not connect tight
