EMBEDEC+ control with Linux

Good afternoon,

We have a small project where we use the EMBEDEC+ from Ether NDE for a remote Eddy current inspection project. The available control software from Ether NDE works well when using a Windows Operating System (OS).
We use for our application Linux OS and the control software is based on Python 3.0. So far the EMBEDEC+ communicates via USB with Linux but to read and write data is quite complicated. There are DLL Instructions for C# available but those are not very helpful for Python.
And here is my questions: Does someone has experience with the EMBEDEC+ and Linux?
Help and/or recommendation is very much appreciated!
Thank you very much, Christian
