Re: X-ray pipeline crawler
We are an Spanish inspection company, based in Madrid, with more than 20.000 km. of pipeline inspected with gamma and X-ray crawlers. We have also branches in some countries apart from Spain. Additionaly we have automatic ultrasound equipment for real time pipeline weld inspection. (very high inspection speed).
If you need any further information do not hesitate to contact us.

regards,

Ricardo Santamaria.

Re: X-ray pipeline crawler
Do you have any statistics or data on the reliability of such crawling devices? I would be particularly interested how frequently it happens, that such a crawler is stuck somewhere in the middle of the pipeline and cannot be retrieved without cutting out a section of the pipe.
Thanks for your answer
Christine

mances of portable X-Ray sets. Despite having managed to halve the weight of similar portable X-Ray generators available on the market (while continuing to provide the same power output), the SITEX CPSERIES generators feature a shutter, a laser pointer, a beryllium window, an aluminum filter and two integrated diaphragms (customized sizes are available upon request). Without compromising the robustness and reliability for which ICM products are renowned, the small size and light weight of the SITEX CPSERIES will radically change the way that you perform your RT inspections. And you will see a positive impact in terms of both quality and return on investment (ROI).
