Jumping straight to ASNT L III

I have enough documented hours to qualify as a level II per NAS-410 standards. I also have a STEM degree which should lower the amount of hours necessary to qualify as a level II.

When applying for my ASNT level III cert in these methods, do I have to have my ASNT level II cert?

Hi Jacob,
I have a friend of mine who doesn't have Level II Certificate as per SNT-TC-1A or ASNT, for MFL, However all he did is document the experience in number of hours in a letter & add it as a supporting document while applying for his ASNT level III. So if you can gather enough evidence exceeding number of hours required for ASNT level III, you're good.
