dear friends,
we are certified aws/cwi we are inspecting pipe line according to std.B31.1.But we are not able to understand the how much excess penetration allowable.if any body know or in which std wecan find out pl. help us.

Dear,
I think you got a wrong standard, B31.1 is for power piping, for pipeline you need to have API1104, you will find your answer there.
