TOFD

Can anyone tell me the minimum and maximum thicknesses that can be examined by TOFD?

And also what about alloy steels. 1 1/4 Cr or 2 1/4 Cr or 5 Cr?

Dear Sir,

I have performed TOFD on 12"+ reactors, mainly Cr. materials. Limitation will come from materials which have course grain structures, high temperatures, etc. What is your application needing TOFD?
