earthquake in Turkey

There was a great earthquake in Turkey
Anybody know any method (non destructive test) to measure building situation and safe graduation?

Please inform me via e-mail

Re: earthquake in Turkey
Hocking NDT (the company I work for) manufacture eddy current equipment. Following the Kobe Earthquake we devised a system for rapidly inspecting welds in the structural frame of buildings under construction. We basically modified a rotating gun to take our WeldScan probe.

Our rep in Turkey NDT E C M I I Ltd. has details of this (contact E-mail: ndtelk@escortnet.com)

If any one would like more information there is a data sheet for WeldScan on our web site and more technical information in our probe catalogue (also on the Web Site).

Anyone having problems or would like a CD with our web site on please e-mail me with your real address.

Regards

oved signal to noise ratio, characterize, size and analyze defects better with access to several wave mode views and save raw FMC data for higher quality analysis.  Some of the benefits are:
  • Beautiful Image! Easier to understand what you're looking at
  • Completely focused in entire image or volume
  • Much easier to define setups before inspection
  • Easier to decipher geometry echoes from real defects
  • Oriented defects (e.g. cracks) are imaged better
  • See image from different wave modes from one FMC inspection
  • FMC data can be reprocessed/analyzed without going back to the field
