API 1104 vs DNV-OS-F101

Is anyone aware of a comparison between the two above mentioned codes?

Andrew:
To the best of my knowledge, there is no documented comparison of the two codes. However, they are quite different in philosophy. The DNV code is rigorous and statistically based, while the API code is more flexible. If you want in-depth comments, contact Ed Ginzel (consultant) at eginzel@mri.on.ca.
