Can magnetic force influence to the propagation of the ultrasound?

I am planning to set up both the UT and MPI test mashies.
Test piece is billet with 10m longs.
Because of limitation of space UT systems will be adjacent to MPI systems
During the Ultrasonic machine inspect the tail of the billet; MPI machine will magnetize the front of the billet.
So Ultrasound will propagate into the billet during magnetizer unit of MPI systems magnetizing the billet by yoke method.
In this case, magnetic forces influence the propagation of ultrasound?
If we can ignore this influence. My 1st question is OK.
Then how about the noise signal causing the MPI systems?
Is it OK ?
We will apply the yoke method for magnetization and water gap method for the coupling between the billet and probe for UT inspection task.
I think some noise signal from MPI system can go into the receiver along the surface of wet billet.

I would like to collect the positive idea of engineering specialist in NDT systems. Any of idea is helpful for me. Please let me know your idea.

It is unlikely that a changing magnetic field in the billet will influence propagation of ultraound in the material. Unfortunately, it is very likely that airborne RF will be picked up by the transducer cables acting as an antenna, giving you strange signals. You should consider using very well shielded cables and moving the utraonic instrument some distance away from the magnetizing equipment. How far away can be determined by trial and error.
