True colour reproduction

I have an application that requires 100% true colour reproduction on screen. Anybody had any experience in this field?

Thanks in anticipation

Gary

Re: True colour reproduction
This is a common requirement in graphic design. While I do not have specific information, I do know that there are "color matching systems" that allow the monitor to be calibrated. You might try a search for color management or color matching.

My Macintosh monitor came with software to calibrate initially and maintain accurate color as the CRT ages...

Good luck,

Re: True colour reproduction
Nowadays, a user can easily calibrate a color monitor with an optional supplied colorimeter, or without an instrument using a powerful set of visual calibration screens. There are several companies you can approach:
Accuracy Microsensors (716) 381-1480
Instrument Systems (613) 729-0614
Labsphere (603) 927-4266
Optronic Laboratories (407) 422-3171
and the list goes on.

Liviu
