Determination of depth of pin holes

Hi everyone,
I'm currently facing a problem with a stainless storage tank (SS316), thickness 4~6mm was found to have surface pitting due to chemical attack.
My objective is to find out the depth of the pin holes. One side of the tank surface is covered with insulation, therefore there is only access on one side.

Is there any NDE equipments that can determine the depth of the pin holes or even better surface cracks???
(Accuracy : plus or minus 0.2mm )
Or

Could anyone give some recommendations ???

I would be greatly appreciated if someone help with it.
Thanks very much.
