1.1.1. Trichloethylene Replacement

To Penetrant and Mag.Particle Users

The place where I work had a demonstration of a pre and post
cleaning product that appears to work as good,if not better than
the removed from the market trichlorethylene products. One
advantage: it is non-WHMIS and non-regulated in the States.
If anyone has already used their products for aerospace NDT
applications I would certainly appreciate some feedback as to its
effectiveness. I was told that Boeing had carried out residual
testing and the product's residue was only 22-28 parts per million.
I've read the company literature atesting to its capabilities
and it all looks very good but I believe the true "acid test" is
in its field use. Any info would be helpful.
You may wish to check out their site-www.lordandpartners.com.
Thanks in advance. Mike
