Laser optic Tube inspection

Dear friends, i really need your help to sort it out my two problem which iam unknow about it

1. Reformer/Heater Tubes examination using Laser Optic Tube inspection system to detect corrosion/pitting in ID or OD for the use on convention or radiation section.

2. Profile RT using Lixi profile to check insulated or un insulated pipelines for remaning pipethickness, corrosion patern and blockage.

i want your help to sort it out how to get the equipment, manufacture and details about the 2 techniques.

please treat this as URGENT.
thanks

For RT application on insulated or un insulated to check the corrosion, remaining WT of pipe line, check with vidisco Digital Flat Panel System. contact www.vidisco.com. You will get the answer

Re: Laser optic Tube inspection
Dear Sir,

I would be happy to provide you with full details relating to the use of LOTIS (Laser Optic Tube Inspection System) if you can elaborate on your exact needs. In the mean time, here some key strengths of the technology which you should be aware of:
- laser depth measuring accuracy of +/-0.05mm (0.002”)
- pit diameter resolution accuracy of +/-0.25mm (0.010”)
- capable of inspecting 100% of a 12M (40’) long tube in 2.6 minutes
- Has been applied globally to inspect “both” Heater Coil and Reformer tubes.
- Has been successfully applied to inspect over 150,000 Steam Reformer tubes

In Reply to Rich Roberts at 05:28 May-12-2008 .

Dear Mr. Robert,
I am Jayakumar from Kuwait, working in a private petrochemical company as T & I Inspector. I would like to know the technical details about the LOTIS method. I took some information from internet which is not clear to my requirement. As part of any internal inspection practice, when you use the specialised technique like ECT, IRIS the tubes to be cleaned throughly to get the exact details to assess the integrity of the tube condition. What about in LOTIS case, do you need through cleaning, if it is so, what type of cleaning required. We need to utilize this new inspection system in our plant for the reactor tubes during the forthcoming shutdown.
Regards,
S.Jayakumar
