SCBA Bottles

I am looking for Non-destructive inspection procedures for inspecting SCBA bottles Aluminum-lined composite (hoop-wrapped) cylinders DOT-E 7235, 8023, and 8115. This is in regards to a bulletin from The Dept of health and human services 07 Dec 99, ref NIOSH Respirator user notice. Stating that there might be a problem with these bottles due to Sustain load cracking in the thread and neck area.

Re: SCBA Bottles
What is the material in the region of this cracking?

If as I guess this is Aluminium then we (Hocking NDT) have experience in providing equipment to inspect the thread and neck region of Al. air cylinders.
