Autoscan Ultrasonic System

Is anyone familiar with a product or system called
Austoscan Mobile Ultrasonic System.
If anyone is familiar with such a product or can shed any light on what it does or who makes it we would appreciate the information.

Re: Autoscan Ultrasonic System We use a setup made by Sierra Matrix in California called APUS - Automated Portable Ultrasonic System. We use it to scan pipe welds in the field with multiple transducers from multiple angles. Windows base software. Sierra Matrix is in Fremont, Califoria, telephone number 510.623.3690

Good luck

For broader information about robotics and automatic scanners you may want to read the ASNT book that was just published. The title of this book is "Automation, Miniature Robotics and Sensors for Nondestructive Evaluation and Testing," and it is Volume 4 of the ASNT's Topics on NDE (TONE) Series.
