NAS410

The latest revision of NAS410 has increased the time frame for re-certfication from 3years to 5 years. Does anyone know if the individuals that were certified when the time frame was 3 years automatically fall under the new 5 year time frame?

Typically what happens is that they are recertified to the new standard at the next certification period.

It is my understanding that when re-certification is due then the five year cycle may begin.

In my opinion, it will subject to the issue you were certified. So, if you were certified during the 3 years term, your certification last until the date mentioned in the original certificate until you sit for the re-examination that would grant you 5 years validity period.
