Change In WPS

Dear All
We are now using a WPS and PQR of some X company.But now we want our own WPS and PQR in our name .So is it necessary for us to Requlify the WPS and PQR.

This is not really an NDE question and you may get a broader repsonse posting in one of the welding Forums. The answer is not simple as different welding and construction codes have different rules as may individual clients.

Baseline is that unless the codes or standards you work to allow some deviation base case is that you need to qualify a PQR that supports any WPS you use. If you are in general fabrication you may want to consult with a welding specialist to design a PQR that covers the largest range of qualifications possible.
