DIN 1.4408 is no standard - it is a steel quality!

1.4408 means an alloyed stainless steel, nickel > 2,5 %, with molybenum.

The respective standard is:
EN 10213-4 (1995)
Technical delivery requirements for cast steel for pressure vessels- part 4: austenitic and austeno-ferritic steel qualities.
