DIN/SEP standards

reply by Udo Schlengermann
to message from Vivek Mittal
to the forum on Oct. 27, 2000:

DIN 1.4408 is no standard - it is a steel quality!

1.4408 means an alloyed stainless steel, nickel > 2,5 %, with molybenum.

The respective standard is:
EN 10213-4 (1995)
Technical delivery requirements for cast steel for pressure vessels- part 4: austenitic and austeno-ferritic steel qualities.

Kind regards
Udo Schlengermann

Re: DIN50107kk
I am looking for this standard. It is suppose to be for mirror button testing for automotive industry. Where can I get a copy of this standard or has it been changed to another standard?
