WORK EXPERIENCE:

Total six years experience including nine months gulf experience.

1. Worked in Arabian Pipeline & Services Co. Ltd. (Anabeeb) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as QA/ QC engineer from 31.05.2005 to 21.02.2006. The company is one of the leading companies in the kingdom in the field of industrial services and turnaround maintenance projects and is a joint venture company of Mourick, The Netherlands and Al Osais, Saudi Arabia.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Till date have independently handled various QA/ QC aspects related to mechanical jobs and painting/ coating works in several petrochemical plants in the kingdom during shutdown maintenance. Some of the companies include Saudi Aramco, Ar Razi, Samad, Sadaf etc. Have madequite an indelible contribution in company’s QA/ QC department and have proved to be an asset to the department according to seniors and colleagues. Have got hands on exposure in preparing QC dossier required to be submitted along with project closure report. Various job duties and responsibilities include:

Material identification
Equipment inspection
Fit up, root & final welding inspection of pipe joints
Giving NDTclearance of weld joints in piping work
Coating work inspection
Pump & motor alignment inspection
Pigging inspection
Modification up date of isometric drawing & P&ID
Assist commissioning activities of new line
Engg. Documentation & qa/qc dossier
Liaising with clients for approval & dealing with contractor

1. Worked In NICCO Corporation Ltd. (Project Division) an ISO 9001 Company as a QC Engineer from 01.11.2002 to 04.05.2005.

a. Worked at Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd. Kaiga 3&4 Unit (Each Capacity 234 MW), Dist: Uttar Kannada, Karnataka.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Was involved in main steam piping from steam generator at reactor building to the turbine island and related balance of plant to the steam generator unit. Total quantum of work involved was around 125,000 inch dia of weld joints of pipes. Various job duties and responsibilities include:

Material Identification
Fit-up, root and final welding inspection of pipe joints (up to 28” dia. & 20.62 mm thk. max of P-1 & P-5 material)
Giving NDT clearance of weld joints in piping work.
Judging the requirement of preheating and PWHT of weld joints of high thickness, arranging the same, witnessing such tests and giving final clearance.
Documentation
Liaising with clients for approval.

The project called for stringent inspection by NPCIL.

b. Worked at Rajasthan Atomic Power Plant, Kota, Rajasthan.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

3. From 15.02.01 to 14.02.02 worked in Public Works (Roads) Dept. as an apprentice and was involved in maintenance of different earth moving machineries.

4. From 12.05.98 to 15.06.2000 worked in M/S Power Electrical Industries as a QA/QC supervisor for pipe work in Kolkata and was involved in material identification, checking of fit-up and alignment, root run and final welding of pipe joints (P-1 material).
