Determines suitability of nondestructive inspection processes and coordinates resolution of complex issues with suppliers. Performs evaluation of processes, technology or equipment through testing to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements and specifications. Provides technical expertise and application knowledge to internal and external suppliers. Works under minimal direction. Reviews supplier and/or sub-contractor processes and control methods by interpreting a variety of documents (e.g., proposals, Specification Control Drawings, Producibility Guides, Manufacturing Production Control Drawings, Supplier drawings and specifications, Process Control Documents). Performs on-site supplier assessments to determine suitability of supplied parts and materials for use in existing products and/or Research and Development activities. Performs analysis of on-site assessment results to determine recommendations. Communicates recommendations to senior decision makers for final disposition.
Evaluates new, complex technology and/or supplier equipment (e.g., sensors, nondestructive evaluation, measurement systems, software) through testing to ensure adherence to client specifications and/or performance requirements. Documents results via information reports (either written or oral) to communicate capability for Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) and measurement applications across business units.
Assists the implementation of new Non-Destructive Evaluat

FMC/TFM

Next generation for Phased Array UT is here now with FMC/TFM! Have higher resolution imaging, impr
...
oved signal to noise ratio, characterize, size and analyze defects better with access to several wave mode views and save raw FMC data for higher quality analysis.  Some of the benefits are:
  • Beautiful Image! Easier to understand what you're looking at
  • Completely focused in entire image or volume
  • Much easier to define setups before inspection
  • Easier to decipher geometry echoes from real defects
  • Oriented defects (e.g. cracks) are imaged better
  • See image from different wave modes from one FMC inspection
  • FMC data can be reprocessed/analyzed without going back to the field

NEW Wheel Type Phased Array Probe

DOPPLER NEW Wheel Type Phased Array Probe, more stable, new tyre makes lesser acoustic attenuation

Conformable wedge transducer

The conformability is obtained with a flexible membrane filled with water between the transducer and

the inspected component. The coupling between the membrane and the component requires a small quantity of water or couplant. The conformable wedge combines the acoustic performance of immersion technique with good coupling and low attenuation.
