Description: Our client is looking for NDE technicians who are capable of being certified as ASNT Level II or Level III NDT Technicians with a combination of any three of the following techniques for positions in their shop and at client locations. MT (Magnetic Particle Testing), UT (Ultrasonic Testing), ET (Electromagnetic / Eddy Current), PT (Liquid Penetrant Testing) RT (Radiographic Testing), or LT (Leak / Bubble Testing) Special preference given to applicants with Shear Wave experience. Our client is prepared to pay for the ASNT certifications.
Some typical examples of the work involved are internal x-ray of pipelines, inspection of tanks, pressure vessels, or related hardware and piping, inspection of welds, detection of corrosion, andthe identification of cracks. Typically this work will be performed in refineries, petrochemical plants, or other industrial facilities.
Requirements: Level II or Level III NDE / NDT Inspector with ASNT certification (or the ability to obtain certification) and a minimum of 4 years worth of hands on experience or equivalent military training with 3 or more years of experience. Travel of approximately 25% will be required.
