Radial Surface Waves

Does anyone have some references about using radial surface waves
from short focused transducers to detect surface and near surface
defects and material property variations?

.I hope this will clarify the points. For past 3 years we are working on developing sensors and system for surface and subsurface characterization of materials in terms of surface velocities and amplitude information and we have a success. We have full facility at University which one can take advantage. The University is McMaster in Hamilton, Ontario or at Fallon Ultrasonics Inc in Hamilton.
