The Applus NDTI Technological Center is the Research and Development department of Applus RTD. The Research and Development activities are aimed at strengthening RTD's position as the reference in Non-Destructive Testing and Inspection services. The Technological Center performs projects for the Applus RTD business units and for the clients of those business units. Furthermore, new technology being researched in science, with suppliers and in the market is spotted and assessed.

The Applus NDTI Technological Center has a vacancy for an:

Senior Electronics Engineer

Who will commit himself to:

- Supply Applus RTD business units with the best possible NDT equipment;
- Improve Applus RTD's inspection technologies;
- Become an expert in either UT Phased Array or Eddy Current equipment;
- Draw up specifications including user feedback, maintenance and operational aspects;
- Advice Applus RTD's operational business units and their clients
- Instruct the users in both written documentation and personal contact;
- Evaluate new solutions and technologies available in the market;
- Building prototype and field systems in a multi-disciplinary setting.

We are looking for some one with:

- A higher technical education in electronics (academic or polytechnic level);
- Experience with modern digital electronics;
- A creative and hands-on attitude;
- Good verbal and written command of the English language. Skills in the German, Dutch or Spanish language are desirable
- Experience with NDT or experience with another discipline involving measuring and evaluation;
- Good communications and social skills.
