JOB OBJECTIVES Provide specific advanced training, coaching and mentoring to meet the needs of NLNG production personnel in consultation with Line Management and the Head of Technical Training. Develop and install advanced programs in Line with organizational requirement for Principal Operators growing to Supervisory grades. Contribute to evolvement of a technical training skill pool from existing Process Engineering skill pools. Identify, vet and implement vendor training programs in consultation with the Line and Head of Technical Training.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Identify, develop and deliver high quality supervisory technical training programs to meet the business needs as required by the line. Monitor maturing of technical workgroups (from Principal Operators to Supervisors levels) and perform technical reviews of progress against the A+P/2 scheme to determine levels of compliance and report to HRP/2. Installation of monitoring program to consolidate successes of the A&P-1 scheme with a competency Assurance program. Proactively review and diligently check vendor-training packages for new equipment and technology and ensure up to date training for staff at all levels. Drive the assessment and verification of progress of the A&P scheme process, maintains records and provides feedback to line management on individual Principal. Operator/Supervisor progress. Provides input to monthly/annual training reports to Management. Take part in in-house and interdepartmental Health Safety & Environmental audits. Stand in for when designated to as Head of Technical Training during his absence. Develop in consultation with Head of Technical Training and the Line a framework (Engineering A+P-2) to be used for identifying, assessing and progressing Principal Operators into Supervisory roles. Liaise with external equipment suppliers on matters of training for equipment acceptance.
Preferred Age Range: 40yrs. and above Proposed Resumption Date:ASAP Minimum Educational Requirement: Degree in Engineering or Sciences
Experience: Not less than 10 years experience in an industrial/Engineering environment preferably with a period spent in the gas and/or petrochemical industry and at least 5 years spent in a Lead Training role at a Supervisory level.
