rEscan International is part of Fenner plc, the worlds largest conveyor belt company, and Australia’s market leader in the manufacture, installation and servicing of conveyor belting.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Newcastle Branch as NSW Technical Service Manager. The role will be responsible for the ongoing business development of the WA business as well as providing professional advice and service on conveyor systems to our customers.

You will be required to organise and oversee customer jobs and perform scanning and condition monitoring of conveyor belts, diagnose issues and design and develop solutions.

Exposure to belt splicing and conveyor systems is highly desirable along with experience working in mines or heavy industry as part of, or leading, a crew of workers. Mechanical engineering background well regarded.

To be successful in this role you will also need to have a strong safety culture, strong communication skills, exceptional customer service and excellent IT/ computer skills. Strong numerical competency is essential with a high level of project management and problem solving skills.

To fit our culture you must be enthusiastic, self motivated with a “can do” attitude. You must hold a full drivers licence and be willing to travel.
