CSWIP Inspector

hi
I'm preparing to register for cswip visual welding inspector exams within this year as a beginner. Although I've no idea about their syllabus, but I believe with my background as a Mechanical Technician and my 3yrs experience as QA,QC under construction industry I mighty be able to sail through with a little push. I need to know if someone can help me with any of their syllabus or some past notes. Any advice appreciated. Currently located in Ghana.

Kwabena

The CSWIP web site has the document which contains the syllabus and specimen questions.

http://www.cswip.com/categories/awelding_inspection.jsp

Arent you perhaps aiming too low as a visual inspector - perhaps if you can gain sufficient experience through your work and you are prepared for extra well-directed study (a big push in place of a little push) you would be in a better position with the weld inpsector Level 2 qualification. There .will be more scope for employment and a good beginning to a new careeer in inspection

Good luck Kwabena
