The volume of air bubbles

Dear Sir.
I am looking for some information related
to measure and detect the volume of air bubbles,
or voids of air (around 0.5 cubic cm) in an object
using any ultrasonic techniques,
I would be grateful if any one could help me,
by giving suitable information related to this matter.

We have measured both in glass and liquid using ultrasonic methods and perhaps you can use the method. If you have small sample please send us and we will send you results. If it is in liquid than number of universities have purchased system from us and have a good success. Please contact me

For a project with the goal of early detection of breast cancer we are developing a version of our holographic camera, that is able to visualize 3D objects with high resolution.
Using the first version of this holographic camera it could be possible to measure such bubbles (with the assumption, that the amount of them is not very high) with high precision (better than 0.1mm).
It is possible to achieve very good 3D reconstruction of such objects.

In what sort of material are you trying to detect the bubbles? How long will the sound path be between the transducer and the target bubbles? Are the bubbles of uniformly spherical shape or does the shape vary? To what level of precision do you need to determine bubble size? All of these considerations will have an effect on the feasibility and reliability of ultrasonic detection and sizing. Perhaps you could tell us a bit more about your test conditions.
