Coating damage assessment of buried pipeline

Any sugggestions to assess the extend of exteranl coating damage or external corrosion on a burried pipeline (let us say for 24"line). We are not concerned about any internal corrosion.
Thanks
Sam

Why dont you try DCVG to inspect the external coating for burried pipeline?

Dear sam,
you can try guided wave or corrosion scan, but first you need to do an economical study for cause this technology is very expensive
