Overview of position:
K2 is looking for an Industry professional to take up the role as NDT trainer and examiner within our training strategic business unit. This individual should have at least 5 years experience in delivering practical and theory based training in all aspects of the required training programs listed below. He should also have specific experience working within a wide variety of industries. The candidate should be knowledgeable in all aspects of their service line (listed below) and have a good understanding of all relevant industry codes, standards and associated report writing for each NDT discipline.
Service line:
• ASNT or PCN NDT Level III in at least 4 methods (RT-UT-MT-PT), knowledge and certification in other and advanced NDT is a plus.
• Previous experience in training and administering examination. It will be a plus, if worked to an accredited scheme (ISO 17024).
• Excellent English and presentation skills.
• Willing to travel worldwide.
• Willing to upgrade the qualifications as required by the company.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks, supervision and working within diverse cultures.
• Day to day reporting and assisting the chief examiner of the centre.
• Responsibilities will include training, course presentation, procedure writing, grading, marking, invigilating and general administration of training and examination.
