That is good to hear.

We like to think our sets are easy to use, but a manual is still useful.

Do you know which model number you will be using? The Sitescan name has been used since the Analog days, but most sets out there are now digital ones. Generally the interface on our digital sets has stayed fairly consistent, but you may as well have the right one,

will you be using any particular evaluation functions? AWS/API/DGS etc?

let me know, either directly or via the Forum, and I'll do the best I can to help.

Joe

Hi joe ,

not 100% sure on the actual set ill be using untill i get out there...... straight forward shear wave UT as far as i know so just wanted any info really so i had a slight heads up on the set . More than likely just functions for calibrating probes , setting DAC,s etc ...... should there be anything more challenging then im sure someone on site would be able to help .

Download 250 Sitescan manual

HI Adam

I've attached manual for the current 250 Sitescan, the 150 is similar, main differences are no narrowband filters, no TCG.

The older 140/240, and the even older metal cased 130/230 have a broadly similar menu structure but a different keypad.

You may also come across 120 or 123 models, these are 'no-frills' units mainly intended for training schools, although they should still be fine for basic weld testing applications.

let me know if there is anything i can do to help.
