Advice on getting into Ultrasonic " pigging " of pipeline's

Hi i'm a level 2 PCN in UT MT and PT I'm looking to getting into in-line ultrasonic inspection of pipeline's.

I just wanted some advice on courses if there are any and which one's to go on which is the best one to give me the basics etc etc.

Also like to hear from any guys that work in the field

Thanks in advance

Liam

your request may not be clear. The development of ILI ultrasonic tools is pretty specific and managed internally be specialized vendors Rosen, NDE Systems. Applus RTD, AGR, A Hak, etc. If you want a move into that area you need to be contacting them about employment opportunities. I don't think many are based in the UK.
