The codes / specifications will normally specify the maximum speed. The minimum is not usually specified. The maximum is governed by several factors including the straightness of the tubulars, the surface condition, the clearance between the coil / probe and the tube, the mechanical system etc. and has to be proved to be consistently achievable.
