Cool jacket in radiography...

Dear expects,
what is meant by cool jacket method in radiography? where it is applicable? kindly feedback with correspondence.

Cool jacket to me means the technique used when shooting hot pipes or other hot parts. Film is sensitive to heat so during the exposure it cannot get too hot.
One method to keep it cool is to insulate the film holder.
There are other more sophisticated techniques with air cooled or water cooled cassettes but not so popular.
