Advanced Ultrasonic Detection and Sizing Training Course
Advanced Detection and Sizing allows the student to learn ultrasonic examination techniques for the detection of flaws in materials susceptible to stress corrosion cracking and other forms of fatigue failure. These methods can be applied to piping, plate, and vessel components in petroleum, chemical, power, nuclear, and aerospaceindustries or any industry involved in ultrasonic examination of metallic product forms.
The "hands-on" practical course includes shear and longitudinal wave techniques for detection, characterization and sizing of intergranular or trans-granular stress corrosion cracks and fatigue type cracks. This course is designed for Level II and III and NDE management personnel.

Mark Davis, who has over 27 years experience in Welding, Welding Inspection and Non-Destructive Testing, instructs the course. He is an ASNT UT Level III and has past Level III Certifications in MT, PT, ET, RT (ASNT), LT and VE.
