Call for Abstacts - 2003 SPIE's NDE and Homeland Security Conf.
This is a friendly reminder about next week, July 31, 2002, due date for submittal of abstracts to the two upcoming SPIE conferences:
Smart NDE and Health Monitoring of Structural and Biological Systems (nd03) http://spie.org/Conferences/Calls/03/ss/confs/ND03.html
Nondestructive Detection and Measurement for Homeland Security (nd04) http://spie.org/Conferences/Calls/03/ss/confs/ND04.html
These SPIE's Conferences are part of the SPIE's Smart Structures and Materials/NDE Symposia offering the attendees a great opportunity to participate in multi-disciplinary forums related to NDE. Some of the interesting topics that are expected at this conference include papers on NDE for medical and biological applications, robotics, smart structures, MEMS, automation, microelectronics, criminology, forensic science, biometrics, geophysics, archeology and others.
These SPIE's Smart Structures and NDE Symposia will be held from 2 to 6 March, 2003, at the Town & Country Resort & Convention Center, San Diego, California USA.
NEW! The PragmaPro Instrument Platform
The PragmaPro is based on a modular cartridge technology and supports various NDT
ities such as UT, PAUT, ECT and many more. This new platform is
based on a machined, powder-coated aluminum frame for shock-proofness, best sealing
qualities and maximum heat dissipation. This is practical to extend the outdoor
temperature range and/or to extend the power injected in the transducers. The
PragmaPro is aiming at a very wide range of applications, such as weld scanning,
corrosion mapping and composite testing.
Webinar: FMC & Advanced Focusing Techniques for Improved Ultrasonic Inspections
Phased array ultrasound is now a commonly accepted inspection technology. Now there is excitement ar
ound new techniques in Phased Array: Full Matrix Capture (FMC) & Total Focusing Method (TFM). Our webinar on December 5 & 6 will illustrate how these techniques, implemented on a TOPAZ64 instrument, can improve the results of existing inspections. Register today.
Wireless TOFD scanner
Quick, accurate and highly reproducible welds testing.
The System operates wirelessly and is compat
ible with any type of
Windows based Laptop, Desktop or Tablet.
Alpha Pro Digital Radiography System
The Alpha Pro digital X-ray system is the ideal system for your NDT
\r\nneeds, as it offers amazin
g 16 bit images which enable the
highest \r\nlevel of detection and identification of hairline cracks.
While weighing only 3kg (6.6lbs), this panel has the largest imaging
area: 35 X 43 cm (14X17 in).
