measuring crack depth

Dear all,
would like to hear if anybody has experience with measuring depth of surface cracks in the range from 0.1 mm to several millimeters.
Which NDT methods/techniques used?
What is the order of achieved accuracy/precision?
On which materials applied?
With commercial or specially developed instrument?

Regards,
Damir

Re: measuring crack depth
Resistivity methold is good for conductive materials. Uses 4 point probe and metered current. Eddy current can also be used. Best on non-ferous materials. We have a new resistivity system, the M100A. If you like, visit our web page at pacndt.com. Our call 609-716-4051. Good luck eith your solution.
