Software 2D/3D Computed Tomography NDT

We are looking for software for high performance 2-D/3-D X-ray CT system.
We are intend to use this software in combination with Comet x-ray tube housing assembly.
Who has practical experiences in this business field ?

Thank’s
Christian

.I have worked for many years on both 2D/3D and CT Imaging, and in particular with the COMET 320Kv Bi Polar tubehead.
The imaging varied from small dense packages to small diamter 8-15 mm diamter fuel tube assemblies.

The imaging used both CCD area array 1024 x 1024 and line array (8 and 12bit).

Software packages have developed over the years and developing further as well as faster.

Re: Software 2D/3D Computed Tomography NDT
We are working on industrial CT imaging for almost 10 years. We have developed industrial CT using both gamma ray sources and constant potential X-ray generators. We have complete data acquisition system software, image reconstruction software for parallel beam and fan beam configuration using linear detector array and X-rays. However these are customised as per specific hardware.

Kindly contact Head, Isotope Applucations Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai, India for further details.

oved signal to noise ratio, characterize, size and analyze defects better with access to several wave mode views and save raw FMC data for higher quality analysis.  Some of the benefits are:
  • Beautiful Image! Easier to understand what you're looking at
  • Completely focused in entire image or volume
  • Much easier to define setups before inspection
  • Easier to decipher geometry echoes from real defects
  • Oriented defects (e.g. cracks) are imaged better
  • See image from different wave modes from one FMC inspection
  • FMC data can be reprocessed/analyzed without going back to the field
