Hi Friends: Do any buddy have digital data (ascii or in binary form or whatever) retreived from ultrsonic transducer probe using ultrasonic analyser. Further more, some methods and information on analysing signals obtained by pulse-echo technique. How much data one should sample, I mean in terms bytes(4bytes,20bytes etc. 30samples/s taken for 1 minute means 30*60bytes), for efficient analysis on to the computer. I am writing a program in which I have to specify how much bytes must be taken and stored from serial port before closing the port and intializing again for new set of data from the same port. Anyone done program regard to serial communications I would like to know. Thanking you in anticipation
