08:36 Jun-14-2003 Tube to sheet weld UT test on UREA stripper
I'm investigating if there are any existing specification or code that defines the test guidelines (test block mock-up reference reflectors, area to be inspected, frequency to be used etc.). I'm also interested to know if someone offers this type of service in Europe.

Four standard heads cover ranges from 19mm to 50mm ID. Up to three heads can be fitted for concurrent tube inspections. Scanner control and data presentation using P-scan 4. FORCE Technology may offer NDT service too.
Details at http://www.FORCE.dk/gb: For brochures click on sidebar links to |Products|P-scan Systems|Brochures| then search for AHS-1, alternatively I can email the PDF direct.
The conformability is obtained with a flexible membrane filled with water between the transducer and
the inspected component. The coupling between the membrane and the component requires a small quantity of water or couplant. The conformable wedge combines the acoustic performance of immersion technique with good coupling and low attenuation.
