Secondly will you be operating in a pulse echo mode or through transmission (pitch and catch). Finally what is the beam 'edge' that you want? Do you want the 'infinite' edge then use the constant 1.22. Or would like to calculate the beam width with a 10% edge (20dB)? Hope this hasn't muddied the waters too much.
