Magnetic particle testing

Hi,

My question is if we can detect the near-surface defects by magnetizing by yokes, if it is possible, what is the maximum thikness that we can controle.
The difference between the yoke magnetizing technic and the universal bunchs

Re: Magnetic particle testing
Hi Kais,
Before i attempt to give you an answer, what exactly do you mean "what is the maximum thickness that we can control" also, "the universal bunchs".
regards, Bruce.

"the maximum thickness" is the mesurement of the penetration of the magnetic fields in the part that we test, and "Universal bunchs" is the "direct contact magnetization through Head/Tailstock".
Best regards

ities such as UT, PAUT, ECT and many more. This new platform is based on a machined, powder-coated aluminum frame for shock-proofness, best sealing qualities and maximum heat dissipation. This is practical to extend the outdoor temperature range and/or to extend the power injected in the transducers. The PragmaPro is aiming at a very wide range of applications, such as weld scanning, corrosion mapping and composite testing.
