Immersion Tank - Rust Control

We are a high volume inspection company examining automotive air bag components using robitic immersion (UT) techniques. The industry is quickly moving from aluminum to steel components.

I would appreciate any information or suggestions on a water based additive for raw uncoated steel for the immersion tanks that does not leave any oily residue or foaming properties and of course, environmental friendly.

We have had good results using immersion tank additives from Sonotech, Inc.
