marketing research

I am working on marketing research (for educational purposes) and am trying to find out if there's a market for combined inspection techniques. Advantage: isolation material needn't be stripped and these techniques are therefore quicker and have lower isolation costs. Disadvantage: direct costs for this service are higher.

I have this assignment for a course and since i know nothing about NDT, i hope someone is willing to give me (or point me to) some info on this topic.
- is there a market for these combined services?
- is anyone already providing these services and if so, what are your experiences (marketing wise that is)?

Thanks a lot!
