Flex-Packaging delayed Adhesion failure

A laminated structure of PET/PE presented delayed adhesion failure. Bonds of +500 gms after manufacture droped to 180 gms 2 weeks later. Problem appears sporadically and mostly in the winter months. I suspect the calcium stearate added by the resin manufacturer to neutralize residual catalyst in the lLLDPE. Any experiences in this area?
