Transducer Characterization

In response to the request for test methods for characterizing ultrasonic transducers, please refer to ASTM E1065, "Standard Guide for Evaluating Characteristics of Ultrasonic Search Units". This Guide is was written to establish a common means for performing evaluations. It describes procedures for both shock excitation and sinusoidal burst techniques. If there are other questions, please e-mail me at the above address.
