Dear friends

How are techniques (DWDI or DWSI) selected for radiography of pipes. What is the oponion of standards in this case?

If your intent is criteria for technique selection,in ASME sec.v you can find recommendation for DWDI technique selection as per pipe OD.(Less than 3.5 inches).For DWSI,You can apply up to obtain necessary quality included time loss&cost.

About your idea for Min. applicable UT thickness,your comment is very exactly but my intended was for COMMON UT METHOD which is mobile pulse echo contact method for welding,forging,in shop plate check(over 12.5 mm thk.) & casting .
