nondestructive testing of carbon content in cu chamber

sir,
we come across a problem like this..
In regeneratively cooled thrust chabber made up of Cu inner wall with a coolant channel dimension :rib width 1 mm and height 1mm outer jacket (1mm sheet)is covered with cu sheet with brazing. during firing of the engine carbon got deposited in these channels and some times obstruct the cooolant flow through this. let me know how many channels blocked nondestructively.
tried with x-ray and did not get any useful information.
please forward necessary inputs
thank you
gowrishankar
