Re: reformer tubes There is a German company " Magnetische Prufanlagen Gmbh" who specilise in this technique utilising a Zetec Miz40. Have seen them in operation both in South Africa and in the Arabian Gulf. the last contact no I had for them was for "Bjorn-Peter Sasch" e-mail address email@example.com

Re: reformer tubes Delta Test is a service company specialist in eddy current and acoustic emission testing. We need some information about your special NDT-question to solve your problem. Which material is used, dimensions of the tubes. Are additional defects suspected?

My company and our partner Methanex (Worlds Largest Methanol Producer) has developed a LASER BASED inspection process for inspecting reformer tubes. In addition to detecting and quantifying creep damage in reformer tubes, we are also able to assist in balancing burners, early detection of flame impingement, damage caused by blocked tunnels/coffins , etc. This is all performed with our custom REFORMER 3-DIMENSIONAL SOFTWARE package.
QUEST has field inspection teams who travel the world performing these services.
