Measurement of Hydrogen attack in steel pipe

Can anyone help me to suggest the most accurate ultrasonic procedure to measure
the presence of hydrogen attack in steel pipes applicable to petrochemical industry. I
assume that attenuation measurement, backwall echo measurement or
velocity measurements(thus the poisson ratio) can be used but I am now sure of thier
accuracy? Is there any acceptance and rejection criteria for
evaluating the severity level of this hydrogen attack?

AEA technology have done a lot of good work in this area utilizing TOFD,
