  • Information for Individual Authors

Individual Authors' articles are published monthly in NDT.net's publication "The e-Journal of Nondestructive Testing ISSN 1435-4934". The Journal's content is storaged together with other publications in the Open Access Archive since 1996 here.

Paper Guidelines and Sample Paper (download here) outlines the essential steps in preparing a paper. We are also interested in already published papers, if you have the rights to submit it elsewhere. This will benefit your readership and thus boost your citiation count. Submit your paper by email to this Address. After our editor review we inform you within a couple of days if your paper is accepted. We are publishing papers in the next month's issue.

We recommend authors to create a profile in our MyNDT Network to connect with other professionals and link author's profile with the articles.

    How Conferences Prepare the Content

As Conference Organizer you please consider some important elements before starting your publishing preparations:

      Paper Format

Plan papers for your publication accordingly to our paper guidelines to ensure best searchability in the Open Access Archive.

      Paper Data

Plan papers for your publication accordingly to our paper guidelines. More important than just fonts of the paper are meta data for each paper to ensure best searchability in the Open Access Archiv. Meta Data of the papers should be provided as excel sheet. We will provide an example to you.

      Publishing Rights

We do not request copyright or an exclusive license. The Conference should make sure that a publishing transfer agreement with the authors empowers NDT.net to publish the conference proceedings or presentations. Most commom today is that the authors submit their papers under a creative common license 4.0.

      When to publish?

Usually we publish your content after the conference in a month that meets the needs our process time and publication schedule. However, we can publish already before the conference to serve as guide for the participants. For this purpose we can include the schedule of the technical program. (example: www.ndt.net/iCT2019)
